ACCL - Alliance Coffee Company Liofilizados

Café Iguaçu opens a lyophilization unit in Palencia, Spain.

In the second semester of 2006 Café Iguaçu, in partnership with the Spanish company Seda Solubles, started to operate a freeze drying unit for soluble coffee with a capacity of 4,000 ton/year.

The new venture is called ACCL – Alliance Coffee Company Liofilizados and it is one the most modern plants of its type in the world. The investment took 15 million Euros and 18 months to be built and to start operating.

In view of this, Café Iguaçu through ACCL starts to supply high quality freeze-dried coffee to its European customers with the flexibility of the use of raw-materials from several origins, but always keeping the ‘Brazilian flavour’
